Better Know what do you mean by " I " ?

I came to this world with out any Expectations , Goals , & Objectives but I don't know when I started developing this EGO that "I am"!!!

From Day one , when I landed in this earth , I was thought by others in my every movement. I was thought to laugh, I was thought to cry , I was thought to walk, I was thought to eat, I was thought to attend to my natural calls, I was thought to speak, and so on and on. I was thought all these by my parents or by my family.

I was thought by my teachers in the school & college to acquire knowledge.

When I started my career , I was thought by boss & my seniors for gaining practical experience of the knowledge so far I had gained .

So , right from the day one of my landing in this world , I am being driven by others.

Oh Lord !!! When I am going to drive others rather than me driven by others?

The Answer is simple : You studied everything except "YOU" . You spent so much time learning things which are of importance or of no importance to you. But you failed to learn "YOURSELF"

What do you mean by that ?

I learnt what is Character but never realised what Character I am.

I acquired knowledge but never thought What knowlege I require & have it in me.

I experienced my career but didn't expose my skills or talent.

In short , I learnt everything except me.

To succeed in Life , Follow the RULE.

  1. Read Yourself
  2. Understand Yourself
  3. Learn Yourself
  4. Explore & Experience Yourself

Jokes

Joke 1:

Answer : February . It has got only 28 days and even a leap year has only 29 days.

Why?? Salary is credited 3 days in advance.!!!

Joke 2 :

Person 1 : Hey , Why there is huge crowd of girls there?

Person 2: They are selecting their Life Partners who are "Life Time Free Servants"

Joke 3 :

Son : Daddy, (on his return from office) - mummy now daily beats me for not doing home work.

God - How do we feel ?

Recently I watched a Tamil Movie called "Anbe Sivam" which means "Love is Shiva" otherwise Love is God. This movie ignited my thoughts and my conscience raised some questions.

Q. 1. Have you seen god? Is he or she visible ? Is God there?

A . How you came to earth? Through your mother . Your Mother? Your Mother's Mother? and it goes on and on.. How many of us would have seen or could have photograph or proof of our forefathers? We belive.

Q. 2. How do you say God is there or God is the creator?

A. I am not able to believe just a few drops of Semen creates a human being . Its not a joke that a few drops performs so many things. It gives you face ,eyes, ears, nose , mouth, hands, fingers, legs, skin, bones , and last but not the least a life with six sense. How is it possible? Can any one has done a marathon scanning of say continous 300 days ,7200 hours ,when the foeutus is inside the womb? We belive.

Q. 3. Every one prays to God. But why everyone is different? Why there is a divide ?

A. Let us assume God is not there and we are the creators. If we are the creators then why there is difference in a family which is created by the same set of people? Why there is a disparity exists between sons & daughters? - If we can't accept this , then We belive.

Q. 4. How to see god ?

A. By being "Good to Others" you will see the Greatness of others
By "Obeying your parents" you will see the Omniprsent love without any expectations.
By" Doing your Duty" to the best of your ability and conscience you will attain Devotion to your duty. When you are devoted you see God.

Q. 5. How to feel god?

A . When you belive every one is a creator in this universe then you feel God in every one.

When you help a person whom you never know , you feel God.

And the ultimate four letter - "Good" . When you do good , when you feel good , when you experience good, when you talk good , you feel God.

A Day I will remember...

12th February 2006 is a memorable day in my life . Not only that it was my Father's 72nd Birthday, it was also a self satisfying day.

Thanks to the igniting & motivating words of Mr. Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal , IPS , the support of BPCL officials (Mr. Kannabiran, Mr. Sai, & Mr.Sundaresan) it was a dream come true for me.

When I wrote about creating a Road Safety Awareness Campaign individually, people were asking me whether it will have an impact?

I want to share with you, today my self and my freinds did an awareness campaign by holding banners on Road Safety and on Wearing Helmet and, in one and half hours there were about 1500 people who read the powerful message which we have written on the banners which we were holding it . Few of them, infront of us started wearing the helmet , which they had kept on the fuel tank, few came and thanked us , few said to their kids / wife that yes, I should buy a helmet.

This has given us a very good motivation and me and my friends are now raring to go and spread our awareness campaigns in Schools & Colleges, important public places etc.

We would be happy if out of 1000 even if we are able to convice 10 of them , that it self will provide a good path to this campaign.

E-learning

In India we always say, " Our Youths are our Future and our back bones".

I asked my conscience why our "Back Bones" are having a tough time ?

Pat came the reply , our back bones are overloaded from LKG and by the time they attain youth, their back bone is strained to the maximum and they want to give freedom or relaxation to the back bone for rest of their lifes and if they continue to over load them , then it may get damaged for ever.

Can we move our education system to a e-learning world where we can safeguard the backbones of our future youth ? While We in India have a vision of a developed country status in 2020 , I wish this vision of mine or the dream of mine also comes true.

Celebrations of "Days"

In India , now celebrating various days have become very popular. Over the past say 5 years , I am seeing the following days getting celebrated .
  1. Mothers Day
  2. Fathers Day
  3. Friendship Day
  4. Womens Day
  5. Valentines Day

If you look at the above five days , I don't know whether we really need to celebrate these? It is the responsibility of every one to look after their parents every day in and day out. The same person who celebrates Mothers day or Fathers Day , totally forget them on "Valentines Day" . In India , now Old Age homes are competting with Global Competition and almost each city or town now has an old age home.

If you look at Frienship , true freindship will have no ego , no formalities , no jealous , but will have lot of give and take between two. In freindship, there shouldn't be any expectations and shouldn't expect anything in return.

Womens Day, In this 20th Century where women are treated in equal in almost all the areas , I can't understand whether there is any need to tell that there is a gender called Women in this world.

Valentines Day - Right word should be "Youths Madness Day" . Sorry, I am not against celebrations / love or against expressing our emotions. I am pained when I see youths go mad on this day by totally trying to buy over the love of each others. As a true freindship , A true love should also be without any expectations and it should have lot of flexibility between each others.

If you feel , we should celebrate these days just for fun (?) , can we celebrate these days with seriousness?

  1. Independence Day
  2. Republic Day
  3. Patriotism Day

On the lighter side , if India as part of their globalisation wants to have almost all the culture's presence in India , or vice versa , I expect the following "Days celebrations" in India.

  1. Worlds Laughter Day ( Especially Indian Married Women would like to celebrate this)
  2. Worlds Cryers Day ( This will be celebrated by those who watch mega serials)
  3. Worlds Mysterious Day( This will be celebrated by those who can't understand their life)
  4. Worlds Comedy Day ( I guess it for you to come to your own conclusion on who will be celberating this day)

Air Traffic

I have just come back from a trip to Hyderabad . The airports were literally stinking due to the strike by AAI employees. But I was happy that the air traffic was not affected that badly and it was almost normal due to staffs working in ATC (Air Traffic Control) and not participating in the strike. This is a good sign, and if you see , it didn't get the support of the general public nor the regular travellers and all of them were ready to bear the strains while trying to stretch themselves in locating a trolley or waiting for the check in baggage to come.

I am travelling after quite some time and I am surprised to see lot of private airlines counter inside the departure terminal . But I have some serious concerns on this growing airtraffic control in India.

I got myself an e-ticket booked and I was telling to myself , that at the counter they may be asking for my Identity card or my Passport or some thing to prove my identity . To my surprise , I was checked in with out any verification. I feel .this can lead to serious security lapse and impersonation is possible and in the event of a disaster it may lead to lot of confusions.

Second thing , I was asked to board the other airlines vehicle (though they are compettitors)to get dropped for boarding the aircraft.

Even during a recent interview in NDTV, Sreenivasan Jain asked Jet Airlines MD about the infrastructure availability for handling this tremendous growth in Aviation Sector , he replied that , Yes there are some concerns and the minsitry should look in to this.

In the recent past we have read in papers about near miss on couple of occassions and I am really not sure whether we have geared up for the growth and whether proper training is given to the staff concerned to handle such huge traffic .

Normally , we wake up only after a disaster strikes and we in India value human lives very low . Either it is a road accident or a train accident , the concerned officials or Ministers will say that it is a human error or sabotage and it will make a cover page in the News Papers for couple of days and after that we just forget.

Yes, we should forget the past and look forward to the future . But are we sharing the lessons learnt in the past for a prosperous future? Was there an action plan made and implemented and tracked?

Can the Government guarantee the safety of passengers travelling by Air?
